Dykes With Drills partnered with Youth Spirit Artworks to build one of twelve tiny homes for homeless youth in Oakland, Ca. We had ninety volunteers over three weekends join our fearless leaders Feifei and Anna Maria to build this house. Thanks to everyone who came out, it was awesome to see so many women, trans and gender non conforming folks, as well as having support from our male allies!
What we’ve accomplished:
1.
Completed building one tiny house.
2.
We had 90 volunteers join us over 3 weekends.
3.
Support our local community by creating partnership with other non profits.
