Volunteering is the backbone of Dykes With Drills and the reason for where we are today. Our volunteers, both at a leadership level, as well as for our community builds, provide the drive, motivation and reason to keep growing and expanding. Volunteering looks like…
Development Volunteer
Development volunteers work directly with our director to help put on events, apply for grants, sponsorships and support our fundraising. Development volunteers do not need to have any prior experience with to help out. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in developing themselves in the world of development. Community Build Volunteer
Our goal is to collaborate on at least four community builds each year. To meet that goal we are looking for folks who want to volunteer with us on our next project. We are looking for both skilled and unskilled builders who want to help. To see a list of the builds we are currently working on click here.
Workshop Volunteer
Being a workshop volunteer is a great way to become one of our instructors. To volunteer, you must have taken at least one of our workshops, so you know how we run things. Volunteers support instructors with set up, reset and help keep participants safe. If you are interested in teaching with us this is a great way to get started.
