Bench Workshop
Join Dykes With Drills for this fun beginner workshop and learn to make a bench for your home! In this workshop, participants will learn to safely use the chopsaw, drills, and drivers to make a wood bench. Participants will also learn about “finishing” techniques (sanding, staining, painting, polyurthaning, etc.) to personalize their benches but finishing will be done on your own time.
This workshop takes place at our Treasure Island Workshop.

Accessibility
Are you in a wheel chair? There is wheel chair access in the building, however not all of the tools are accessible or set up to be operated safely by someone in a wheel chair. Some modifications in the shop can be made if we know in advance that you are coming.
Do you have a low scent tolerance? We ask that our participants refrain from using extreme scents, though cannot guarantee the workshop space will be scent free. Please know that sawdust is present in the shop and we have masks available upon request.
Do you use ASL? We currently don’t have translation available, and would love to work with you about how you can access our workshops.
